These two were perfection together.  Most females are natural poses and know how to cuddle in for a great picture.  Not all men have quite the same skill level but this soon-to-be groom knew just what to do!  His expressions were sincere and spectacular.  I loved photographing this couple at the University of Tampa on a sunny Saturday afternoon.  They’re actually stationed in Tampa for military work and this photography location is just a 10 to 15 minute drive from the base.

I thought their outfits complemented each other perfectly!  A light blush color is universally flattering and I thought her flowy dress helped the pictures to feel extra romantic and whimsical.

The couple may have also been in a good mood because this was the evening of miliary ball so they had a lot to look forward to!  I think it’s fun to end a portrait session with something exciting – a special dinner, fun outing, or whatever brings you happiness.  It helps create real smiles when there’s an excitement or anticipation in the air.  Also, she had her hair and makeup professionally done which was perfect!  She looked great for the pictures and had the ball in a few hours.  Two birds with one stone!
