MEET ALICIA!

Tampa, Florida family & portrait photographer

Welcome to my photography world! I’m Alicia, a proud mother to Sadie, Jax, McKay, Andi, and Nutmeg (our beloved Australian Labradoodle) and the loving wife of Ben. Originally from Seminole, Florida, I now call the beautiful city of Tampa home. I love the sunny skies, warm evenings, and quirky residents that make Florida unique.

My days are filled with the delightful chaos of raising four amazing children—jumping on trampolines, crafting PB&J masterpieces, and always having a camera ready to capture life’s fleeting moments.

I earned a B.S. degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in Teaching from the University of Tampa. Fifteen years ago, my talented sister-in-law encouraged me to explore photography and I’ll forever be grateful. From that first click, I fell in love with the art of capturing emotions and memories.

I believe in real moments, chasing sunsets, and images that remind us of the joy found in simple moments together. My photography is about creating images that are meant to be printed, framed beautifully, and hung on walls for years to come. Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.

Beyond photography, my days are filled with the simple joys that life offers. I find peace in the gentle waves of the beach, the thrill of a tennis match, and the excitement of exploring new places. Wellness is a priority for me, whether it’s through nurturing my garden or practicing mindfulness. Evenings are for winding down with a good book, and I treasure early bedtimes that leave me refreshed for the adventures of the next day. Animals, children, and the great outdoors fuel my spirit, making every day a new adventure.

THE HEART BEHIND THE IMAGES

Exploring faraway places has always been a thrill for me. From the vibrant streets of India to the breathtaking beaches of the Maldives, each destination has its own magic. Thailand’s bustling markets, Switzerland’s breathtaking mountains, and Austria’s charming villages—they all have a piece of my heart. I’m happiest when I’m exploring, and thankfully, our kids are good travelers. Here are a few places we’ve visited….

But you know what’s just as amazing? Coming back home to the comfort of familiar sights and sounds. There’s something special about the cozy corners of my own space after an adventure-filled journey. There’s no place like home sweet home!
