This session was for dear friends who recently welcomed their third daughter into their family.  Baby Hazel was perfectly adorable and she was loved to pieces!  I was able to capture the special moments when her siblings, grandparents and aunts met her for the first time.  The excitement when the big sisters met the new baby for the first time was such a treat to capture!

For those unaware, a Fresh 48 session is a special session for families who want to capture the first few hours of their newborn’s life and the special moments when the siblings, grandparents, and other family members meet the new baby for the first time.  This is a great option for families who want photos in the hospital, but not the whole labor or birthing process. It’s a lifestyle-type session, which captures the special and tiny details of the new baby, hospital room, and special moments in the first 24 – 48 hours after the baby’s birth.

Hospital sessions are quickly becoming some of my favorites! Unlike traditional newborn work, these photos are real and raw.  The skin isn’t edited, the baby isn’t posed, and the emotions are all true.
