FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS —
To find available dates you can go to my calendar https://calendly.com/johnsonalicia/portraits. You’ll receive a booking questionnaire after submitting your request through Calendly. The questionnaire helps me gather more information and you’ll be able to pay the deposit through that link. Once the deposit is paid and questionnaire is received you’ll officially have a reserved date.
My turnaround time is usually 7 to 14 days for a portrait session. You’ll receive an email with a link to your final gallery once the images are edited.
My contract guarantees you’ll receive a minimum of 35 edited, full resolution images with the print release. However, I like to under promise and overdeliver. A final gallery often has between 60 to 100 photos.
Yes, definitely! I feel strongly that your final images should be printed and enjoyed. You’ll be able to order products through your gallery or you’ll have the print release so you’ll be able to use a lab of your choice.
I think albums are one of the best ways to enjoy your photos! I offer custom designed 8×10 linen, embossed albums. It’s an optional add-on to your session or you can purchase them once you receive your final gallery of images. They are keepsakes that look beautifully displayed on a coffee table or side table. I create them for my family and they often get picked up and flipped through!
You get to decide! You can view a list of my favorite locations here: Locations. Feel free to browse and see what stands out to you! Also I’m happy to provide guidance and suggestions if you are unsure.
There are 4 broad categories to choose from – beach, park, city/urban, and your home. If you know which of those categories you want I can offer several great options in the area. And I’m always open to new locations so don’t hesitate to suggest somewhere meaningful to you.
There’s no fee to reschedule if I’m given 30 days notice or if the weather is poor. We’ll coordinate together an alternate time to meet.
If you need to reschedule last minute there is a $150 change fee, because I’m not able to fill the spot without more notice.
