Jared was looking for something urban and cityscape for his graduation Tampa senior portraits. He was drawn to the decay and grunge of the downtown atmosphere. He loved bricks, ivy covered walls, light posts, and murals. We began our session at an incredibly venue in the YBOR area of Tampa called Creative Loafing. They graciously allowed us to use their space. We spent about 15 minutes at their indoor space. The old bricks, beautiful light, and architecture was just what Jared was wanting. I hope to return there one day. It was a great spot for portraits or events with a really cool downtown vibe.
After that we went exploring through YBOR and Tampa. We found some fun and unique spots. One of my favorites was the dog mural wall which we found in the outdoor space of a restaurant along the main strip in YBOR! I also loved the white brick wall and the way he popped against it. His outfit choices were excellent and fit perfectly with the spaces we photographed in.
He’s an amazing graduating senior with a very bright future ahead!
