While visiting St Pete Beach this cute couple decided to schedule a Trash the Dress Session to celebrate their one year anniversary. We decided to also do a few quick family pictures in the beginning with their son. He had so much personality! It was fun to play with him, let him explore, hunt for shells, swing with his parents, and run from the waves! After some family pictures the couple did an outfit change for some romantic, lovely couple portraits. I thought it was a really fun way to celebrate an anniversary and remember a fun trip! Clients are always so happy when they’re on vacation – they’re tanned up, relaxed, and inspired by their surroundings. A perfect combo!
The weather started out beautiful but towards the end of the session it started to rain. The clouds actually made the pictures all the more beautiful and we were, thankfully, able to capture what we needed before the heavy rains started!
The waves were really quite large for us! The bride almost got knocked over. I loved all her genuine laughs and grins! She was fighting for her life out there – waves, wind, and rain. Poor thing! It was a fun adventure for all of us and they’ll have lasting portraits to remember the occasion.
Outfit change: into the wedding dress! The winds started picking up due to the approaching storm but we faced into the wind and it all worked out!
